Luke 4:14-32; 5; 6:12-16; Matthew 10
I am not scheduled to teach our ward’s Gospel Doctrine class this week so I’ve decided to direct you to a marvelous blog post for further study & pondering. This post is by Jim F. who’s notes I’ve used extensively in my personal scripture study over the past years. I think you’ll really enjoy his thoughts…probably so much that you don’t bother coming here! Please come back now, ya’ll! Ya hear? 🙂
Our Sunday School class is on Lesson #6 this week (Feb 11th). It is the 6th week of the year. Did our teacher skip something like an intro lesson? Why are we ahead? Or you behind? I like to prepare for class and would like to have some other input to my study from this site, but . . .
LaRae, we had ward conference a couple weeks ago. Between ward & stake conferences we’re not all on the same lesson each week. I’m posting notes for Lessons 6&7 this week, tho I don’t teach 6. I teach alternating weeks. I am intrigued by the Beatitudes so I’ve decided to post notes for them anyway. I look forward to reading your comments on the posts. 🙂
